In the next few years look to European courts, judges and lawyers in international law. Thanks to lawyer, Michael Ratner, Rumsfeld has already had to flee France. This year, follow what New York Congressman, Gerald Nadler, is doing to investigate/expose the crimes __all this for those European prosecutors to follow up on.

One hopes - but virtually everyone in this administration has managed to evade any responsibility or consequences for their actions. I am not sure the will exists to prosecute. Evil can prosper only if good people will do nothing.

One of the distinguishing characteristics of Nazi functionaries such as Reinhard Heydrich and Heinrich Himmler was that despite their monstrous crimes, they looked and sounded like otherwise average bureaucrats. Granted, Dick Cheyney’s crimes fall short of Himmler standards, but he does seem to fit the mold.

If Cheney thinks waterboarding is not torture, then he must advocate its use in ordinary criminal investigations. He is evil incarnate.
