“10 Years” - Judy Shepard Calls for Hate Crime Law

By admin On May 2, 2009 Under Crime Videos

www.FightHateNow.org Judy Shepard lost her son Matthew to an anti-gay hate crime more than 10 years ago. Since then tens of thousands more Americans have been the victims of hate violence. Tell Congress it’s time to act.

Have ZERO tolerance for hate! Love is for the victorious, and hate is for losers! It takes more energy to hate than to love, love builds up and hate only destroys……the HATER.

Equal rights now and forever.

…and the bible also says that God is not mocked, a man shall reap what he sows. You sow hate into your children, they will pay the price and reap the harvest of the hate they choose to manifest in thier lives. God WILL allow this to teach both YOU and your children a lesson in LOVE, the very message that your JESUS preached. Shame on you and your household, may there always be lack and struggle in your home until you practice the law of love the way God would want you to.

I received this video today, from Human Rights.Everybody in the World should be quiet and listen.

Human Rights sended me this:

Dear Fernando,
We just got the news: the U.S. House has passed the fully inclusive Matthew Shepard Act.
This was not an easy victory. But we WON in the House thanks in part to the tireless, fearless Judy Shepard, who joined me in critical last-minute meetings on Capitol Hill today.

Peace and Love Everybody.
Fernando, Argentina.-

You sad, stupid man. As soon your exercise of your freedom impedes on the freedom of another person (like the freedom to live, for example), it is no longer a freedom protected by the first amendment.

Get a clue you ignorant, hateful, backwards Christo-fascist.

Freedom of Religion? What in the HELL are you preaching, buddy? HATE is NOT the words of Jesus.. BTW, hmmmmm HE never mentioned the TOPIC of homosexuality!
Read ALL of Leviticus what else WAS an abomination. I bet YOU are doing QUITE a few of them!
Oh. Concerning your right to kill… well WHILE you are AT IT - LOOK at GOD’s TOP TEN -
Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13)
How about FREEDOM FROM STUPIDITY!!!

H.R.1913 passes at the US House.
NEXT WEEK-
US Senate will hear debate on the Matthew Shepard Act. Senator Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) will introduce the bill, also known as S.909.

TAKE MORE ACTION.
Call your Congressperson and send a strong and factual message in your voice. They NEED to hear about this, and thank them if they have. President Obama is waiting to sign this law, let’s not disappoint him.

absolutly wonderful that she does this for the cause. I am a huge supporter & it has to be hard for her to talk about her son getting beat to death. Even though I am atheist I have to say: If there is a God, then God Bless Judy & Matthew Shepard & may he rest in peace.

mrtazzyman - would you like me to post the portion of the bill that states 1st Amendment protections on your profile? This bill does not take away freedom of speech.

I didn’t know they needed a new law to punish murderers and assaulters. Although this brought tears to my eyes I can’t help wondering what is really in this new Hate Crime Law and will it remove freedoms people now enjoy like freedom of speech.

The 5th of May will mark the day that I almost lost my life to a hate crime. and the criminals almost got off the hook because the the Phoenix Police Officer didn’t file a report until he was forced to because the issue was pursued by people who wanted to see to it that justice was done. I hope at some point the Judicial arm of this country will do the right thing, and protect all of the citizens from any form of hate. Hate has no room in a civilized nation.

Does the Freedom of [or from] religion give another religious group the right to kill Christians, because they believe that’s what their Messiah would want? No. That would be just as stupid as the type of “freedom” you’re defending.

It is not your right to kill homosexuals, because that takes away from the right of them to live. You are a huge part of the reason religion is becoming less prevalent in the world. You are such a horrible representation of Christianity.

I hope you live lovingly.
